After checking the parameters necessary for the selection of the contact lens that best suits the patient, it is then referred to the contact lens test. In this assessment, given the patient´s motivation and clinical situation, contact lenses are tested until achieving the best vision and comfort possible for the patient.
The contact lenses that are available for testing may vary according to:
- Lens type – Hydrophilic, RPG, Hybrid and Scleral;
- Substitution frequency – daily, monthly and annual;
- Manufacture material.
